eBay's fee structure for most sellers consists of a 13.25% final value fee that applies to the total amount of the sale, including the item price and any shipping amount charged to the buyer. This rate includes payment processing — eBay no longer charges a separate PayPal fee since they moved to managed payments.
On top of the percentage-based fee, eBay charges a $0.30 per-order fee on every transaction. This is a flat fee regardless of the sale amount.
Note that some categories have different final value fee rates. Most categories fall under the standard 13.25% rate, but categories like musical instruments and business equipment may have lower rates. If you use eBay Promoted Listings, an additional 2-12% ad fee applies.
eBay provides sellers with 250 zero insertion fee listings per month. After that, each new listing costs $0.35. Store subscribers get more free listings depending on their plan.
